5th Grade Orientation

We look forward to welcoming our incoming 5th grade students and their families! To accommodate schedules, two orientation sessions will be offered: 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Please enter through the front entrance by the flagpole and proceed to the auditorium.

During orientation, families will receive their child's class schedule and have the opportunity to walk through it to practice navigating the building before the first day of school. Students will visit their team pod, where core classes are held, and tour key areas of the school, including the cafeteria, auditorium, and gymnasium.

Families will also meet teachers, administrators, office staff, and the school counselor while learning about daily routines, academics, team organization, the bell schedule, attendance, health and safety procedures, metal detectors, cell phone expectations, Chromebooks, band and chorus opportunities, Kool Threads, the PTSA, and student drop-off and pick-up procedures.
